The Seagram’s Royal Stag Food Drinks & Hospitality Exhibition 2013 is organized by House Rajkarnicar Exhibitions & Events in recognition of the tremendous growth in the sector. Food and beverage is a basic element of not only business and industry but also life and culture. The Exhibition will be the first of its kind in Nepal focused exclusively on food, beverage & hospitality. While food and beverage have become big revenue source and profit centres for the hotels, restaurants and “party-palaces” have mushroomed beyond anyone’s expectations in the last ten years. Likewise, takeaway food outlets, street food vendors, supermarkets and grocery stores have popped up in every neighbourhood and markets in large numbers. Nepal has also seen growing exports of food products especially cereals, spices, organic food, tea and coffee.
The Seagram’s Royal Stag Food Drinks & Hospitality Exhibition 2013 will host about 125 exhibitors, 3 thematic pavilions, organize 9 special events. The exhibit profile of the event includes: Grains, Pulses and Flours; Nuts, Fruits and Vegetables; Dairy Products - Milk, Paneer, Cheese, Ice Creams; Meat, Poultry and Fish Products; Processed Foods - Pickles, Snacks and Biscuits; Frozen Foods; Alcoholic Beverages - Whiskey, Gin, Rum, Vodka, Kahluwa, Tequila, Wines, Wine Coolers, Beers and Cultural Brews; Non-alcoholic Beverages - Juices, Carbonated/Non-carbonated Drinks, Coffee, Tea; Spices and Food Ingredients & Preservatives; Organic and Health Food Products; Bakery & Confectionary Products and Equipment; Kitchen Utensils and Equipment; Kitchen and Food Services; Kitchenware - Crockery/Cutlery/Chaffing Dishes; Food and Beverage Equipment; Food Processing, Packaging Equipment and Machinery; Poultry Farm Equipment and Supplies; Restaurant and Hotel Furniture; Restaurant and Hotel Lighting & Décor; Restaurant and Hotel Upholstery, Furnishings, Linen; Restaurant and Hotel Uniforms; Hotel Room Toiletries; Laundry & House Keeping Supplies; Refrigerating Cabins and Show-cases; Culinary and Hospitality Educational Institutions; food & beverage retailing franchises.
The exhibition will be targeting a visitor profile that includes hoteliers, restaurant owners and managers, clubs and bar/pub owners and managers, party-palace owners and managers, canteen operators of schools, colleges, hostels and hospitals, caterers, chefs, bartenders, supermarkets and grocery store owners and managers, bakeries, snacks and food manufacturers, tent houses. While the event is primarily a business-to-business event, consumers are expected to visit in great numbers as well. The exhibition hopes to attract more than 60,000 business visitors and consumers.
Business visitors will be able to go on to the exhibition website( ), check the exhibitors’ list and directly pre-book appointments with the exhibitors for the duration of the exhibition. The exhibition is free for business visitors if they register online and their names appear on the website buyers’ list. They may also register from their mobile phones by typing FDHYour Name E-mailCompany name and send SMS to 4001. Invitees who receive SMS invitation should bring their mobile phones and show the SMS message for free entrance. They may also register on-site for the free business invitation at the Food Drinks & Hospitality Exhibition 2013.
The US Embassy is organized by the American Franchise Pavilion to show-case and promote US franchises and products such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Baskin Robbins, Radisson Hotel, Budweiser, Fat Burger, Cool de Sac and Tom & Jerry Cafe. The pavilion expects to host 10 US franchisors or products. Similarly, the exhibition will also feature the Hospitality Education Mart which will present 10 schools, institutes, and training centers related to hospitality management and tourism.
Several live special events are planned during the exhibition such as REBAN Food Festival, Monin Best Bartender Contest, Morde Master Baker Challenge, Century Master Chef Challenge, Invenio Wine Tasting Workshop, Red Bull Club Entertainers Live, cooking demonstrations on “Secrets of Thai Cuisine” and “More to Italian Cuisine than Pasta and Pizza”, talk program on “Food & Beverage Retail Franchising” and of course, numerous sample tasting counters during the Exhibition to involve and engage the industry professionals, to highlight the exhibition theme but also enliven the atmosphere for the visitors.
